Railway Projects

Laxyo has expertise of four decades strengthened by highly sophisticated technical base for construction of rail infrastructural facilities including conducting reconnaissance Engineering Survey works to commissioning of railway siding on turnkey basis. Laying and linking of BG track with or without EPC remains core function of the Company. Similarly Gauge conversion from Metre Gauge to Broad Gauge has been regular works for the company. Contracts for Modernization/Remodeling/Restructuring of Railway Yards, Up gradation of Railway Sidings etc. for Indian Rail as well as Private parties Cement and Power plants have been executed to entire satisfaction of the clients. In addition regular maintenance of railway track including Deep Screening, Complete Track Renewal (CTR) work, De – Stressing of LWR, T. S. R. etc; Renewal of Bridge Sleepers and Rails and all related works are continuously attended by Laxyo for Indian Railway and various Industrial houses.

Company also undertakes Annual Maintenance Contract for Railway sidings. Execution of works contract for roads, minor bridges, culverts, buildings, platform, pavements and other civil works. Laxyo provides competent and comprehensive Consultancy solutions in project management for Railway Track.

Preliminary Engineering

To conduct preliminary Engineering Survey of the site to determine take off points and alignment of the proposed railway line into the plant from the nearest and suitable track point of main line
To conduct study of different alternatives/options considering the topography of the area, availability of land and other relevant local factors
To take longitudinal levels for assessment of grades over the proposed alignment
To conduct Site survey for making provision of bridges, culverts and crossings on the rail line from take off point to plant boundary
To indicate the area of land required for providing the railway siding
To prepare and submit Conceptual Plan for obtaining of In Principle approval of Railway Authorities as per prevailing practices
To submit and discuss Feasibility Report of the project with Railway Authorities and obtain In Principle approval

Detailed Engineering
To conduct detailed field survey work with assistance of survey instruments and fix alignment
To take detailed longitudinal and transverse levels along the alignment and carry out modifications if any required
To carry out Detailed engineering, design and drawings of proposed take off point, siding portion and other structures needed for the siding
To prepare general arrangement drawings in accordance with Indian Railways Specifications
To fix alignment and laying of curves on ground and Identify the requirement of land for siding and other infrastructure purpose
To assess extent of signaling and telecommunication needs along with OHE arrangement, if any
To prepare Draft Project Report and submit the same to Railway Authorities for approval
To carry out liaison work, discuss and obtain approval of Railway Authorities on Draft Project Report with or without suggested amendments/ modifications by the Railways officials
To assist the customer in execution of the siding agreement with Railways
To carry out liaison with Divisional and Zonal Head Quarters of the concerned Railway for execution of the siding work Construction of Railway Track

Laying of Railway Track

To provide levels and alignment before execution of the work
To carry out Earthwork in embankment and cutting for formation,
To carry out laying and linking of Railway Tracks including points and turnouts,
To construct Platforms, FOB, FUB, Platform sheds, Railway Siding, Overhead Electrification, Signaling & Telecommunication, Pavement, Road works
Supply of all P Way Materials, Signaling, Overhead Electrification Material etc.
To arrange for Testing and Trial Runs and Organize Inspection of the completed works by Railways
To obtain final approval of the Railways before the  Commissioning of the Siding
Remoulding of existing railway yard and railway lines as required by client.

Through Turnout Renewal, Through Fitting Renewal, Realignment of Curve, Pulling back of rails with or without cropping of rails
Insertion of Diamond Crossing, 1 in 16, 1 in 12 and 1 in 8.5 Turn Out with PRC/Steel layout.
Through Packing, Re Conditioning of Point and Crossing, Tounge Rail, Pitted Rail and Wheel Burn.
Welding of rail joints by AT Welding (SKV process)
