Laxyo © observed very closely the ever growing demand for electricity vis-à-vis constrains of conventional and non-renewable
energy sources which opened the doors for Renewable Energy Source. Being emboldened by its vast experience in the field of operation and maintenance of Captive Power Plant including Fuel handling system, Coal and Ash
handling Plant and handling of Biomass, coal, other input material, it decided to enter the field of generation, production, development and sales of Power, through Non-conventional Sources such as Bio/Woody Mass and Solar
Photovoltaic in Rajasthan. The Company after in-depth study of all aspects obtained registration from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Commission, Jaipur for setting up 10 MW Biomass Based Power Generation Plant at Dag,
Jhalawar District, Rajasthan. RREC, Jaipur approved the Detailed Project Report submitted and process for acquisition of required land for setting up the plant is in progress.
Laxyo floated Green Earth Power Generation Private Limited as a special purpose vehicle and obtained permission of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited, Jaipur for setting up similar plant in the District of Pratapgarh. The Detailed Project Report submitted to RREC, Jaipur is under its active consideration and process for acquisition of land is in progress.
Simultaneously as Solar energy is the most readily available and important renewable sources of energy. Laxyo is setting up 5 MW Solar Photovoltaic plant in state of Rajasthan. The Nodal agency is same i.e.
RREC for the project. In coming years it is expected that millions of households in the world will be using solar energy.
In these renewable energy projects Power will be evacuated in the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd., (RRVPNL)/ Jaipur Discom Grid by laying the necessary transmission lines and other necessary equipments.
The Projects will also be entitled to sell the saving in carbon emission achieved due to use of biomass as fuel for which the Project will be registered with UNFCCC after following the prescribed procedure.
